Sources are reporting an alleged shooting scene.

It is still developing and details are dynamic.

It happened around 10:20 pm

At or near an address near Cityview
Possibly Cityview and Rockton area.
(3000 block of Cityview Drive

Reports of gunfire in the area.

Then there were reports of a teenager that was allegedly shot.

Unconfirmed reports are saying shot in the chest.

Still developing.

Please remember, everything is unconfirmed at the moment.

UPDATE: Rockford PD has confirmed a 16 year old male has been shot.
He was alive and transported to a local ER.
Rockford PD is asking the community to avoid the area while they conduct their investigation.
The alleged suspect fled the scene.
However, Rockford PD have not yet released the suspect description to the public.
