After speaking to kennel personnel who spoke to the driver, it seems that a regular customer of the kennel was westbound on Burr Oak and was being tailgated by a teenager, so he put his turn signal on way in advance before attempting to turn into the kennel. The teenager just wouldn’t slow down and rammed him from behind as he tried to turn in, causing his car to roll.

Allegedly What May Have Happened: One vehicle rollover accident

Alleged Approx. Location: 6100 block of Burr Oak Rd/Roscoe

Alleged Approx. Time: 7:50 am

At approximately 7:50 this morning emergency personnel were called to the 6100 block of Burr Oak Road, in Roscoe, for reports of a auto accident with possible injuries.

Initial reports are this was a one vehicle accident and that vehicle rolled over onto its roof. No extrication was needed for a male occupant and a dog that was allegedly in the vehicle as well.

One person was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The extent of any injuries is unknown at this time.

Avoid the area awhile.
