Allegedly What May Have Happened: Rollover accident/road closure/power outage /pole down
Alleged Approx. Location: Newburg Rd & Bell Valley Rd
Alleged Approx. Time: 10:45 pm
At approximately 10:45 this evening emergency personnel were called to the area of Newburg Road and Bell Valley Road in Rockford Township/Cherry Valley for reports of a one vehicle rollover accident.
Initial reports are this is a pickup truck that has rolled and also taken out a pole in the area. There are reports of power outages in the area. No extrication was needed and ambulance transport was refused.
Update- Police requested medical back to the scene and one person was ultimately transported to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The roadway is reportedly being shut in the area temporarily.
Avoid the area or expect delays.
