First and foremost we wish her a speedy recovery
and thank you for reaching out and letting us know what happened.

It is because of people like you, that help keep RS informed and accurate.

She took a few minutes of her time and reached out to us and provided us a correction and an update.
Kudos to you Keyundrea!

She said that the road conditions were slippery that night.
And that as she was driving along, she hit a patch of ice.

After hitting the ice, her vehicle lost control and slid on the ice.

Forcing her vehicle up onto the curb and sliding into a utility box on the side of the building.

There were many reports of slippery road conditions that night.
And it may have contributed to several accidents that night, including this one.

Allegedly What May Have Happened: Vehicle Vs building accident

Alleged Approx. Location: Preston St & Foster Ave

Alleged Approx. Time: 10:40 pm

At approximately 10:40 this evening emergency personnel were called to the area of Preston Street and Foster Avenue in Rockford, possibly at a Liebovich Steel building, for reports that a vehicle has collided with the building.

No injuries are being reported, no medical transport was needed.

Avoid the area.

We have received reports that roads are getting slick tonight from the light snowfall.
