  Also, change the batteries in all of your alarms
• DARK smoke means a possible fire.
  LIGHT smoke means that it probably is not a structure fire.
  When you see DARK smoke, call the FD
• Keep everyone involved in your thoughts and prayers.

Sources are reporting a possible fire scene on Rockford’s East side.

It happened around 11:45 pm

In the 4900 block of Linden.
Possibly an apartment building.

Initial reports are saying a caller is reporting that there is alleged smoke coming from the laundry area.

And the fire alarms were reported to be going off.

Rockford FD arrived on scene and confirmed light smoke showing from one side.

And were going to be out investigating.

No other information at this time.

UPDATE: Dryer running, no fire.
