That has currently been provided to us.
Allegedly What Happened: Apartment Fire
Alleged Location: 5400 block of Wansford Way
Alleged Time: 11:00 am
At approximately 11:00 this morning emergency personnel were called to the apartments in the 5400 block of Wansford Way for reports of a possible fire in the building.
Initial reports are smoke was seen on the second floor that was believed to be coming from a apartment on the first floor.
Residents are being evacuated from the building. The extent of the damage and if anyone is injured is unknown at this time.
The Rockford Fire Department is currently on scene…
Update: Fire is out and a investigator was requested to the scene.
