Our Opinion:
What Allegedly Happened

Based on the current information,
That has been provided to
us.

Allegedly What May Have Happened:    Accident Involving Motorcycle/Serious Injuries

Location:   2500 block of Highcrest Rd

 Time:   1:35 am

RS Source Laela Karimi:
I was the 911 caller, and live across the street where it happened. There was not another vehicle involved in the actual accident. Another vehicle had stopped to give aide w me.
When I called 911, I was running across the street to him and was reporting everything I saw.
I told the dispatcher theres a car here..it probably sounded like on the scanner that they were directly involved but were only trying to help.
Unfortunately the motorcyclist lost control on his own and hit a light pole.

At approximately 1:35 this morning emergency personnel were called to the 2500 block of Highcrest Road for reports of a accident involving a motorcycle.
Initial reports are this accident involved a motorcycle and a pole.

The injuries sustained to at least one person involved are said to possibly be life threatening injuries.

Avoid the area for awhile or expect delays.

We will update as further information is released.

Per RPD:

TRAFFIC CRASH: Adult male motorcyclist crashed in the 2500 block of Highcrest and is being transported to a local hospital for life-threatening injuries. Please avoid the area while we investigate

UPDATE Per RPD: The 32-year-old male motorcyclist has succumbed to his injuries sustained earlier this morning on Highcrest.
