Alleged Shooting incident At A Local DMV
We are getting reports of a shooting at a local DMV.
It happenbed this afternoon at the DMV on E State st.
There is one confirmed shooting victim.
Local ER is reported to be on lockdown, because of this.
Unknown on the victim’s condition.
No employees were injured.
Reports of the shooting suspect still might be in the area.
Police are reported to be searching the area.
And several customers are locked inside nearby businesses.
Police will not allow them to leave, until their investigation is done.
Rockford PD have not yet released any info on the incident or suspect(s)
If they do, we will update this…
UPDATE:
Rockford PD said: we are speaking to a person of interest and will post an update when we can.
SHOOTING INVESTIGATION: Adult male was shot outside of the strip mall in the 3700 block of E. State. The victim went into the DMV after being shot and is being treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Further updates will be provided when available.
