What Allegedly Happened: Stabbing
Update: This is now a murder investigation.
Brief Synopsis on what may
have allegedly have happened…
At approximately 2:25 this afternoon emergency personnel were called to the 2200 block of 19th Avenue for reports of a unresponsive stabbing victim.
All that is known at this time is one person was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with what are possible life threatening injuries.
We will update if further information is released.
Per RPD: Rockford Police are investigating a report of an adult male who was stabbed in the 2200 block of 19th Avenue. His injuries are considered life-threatening. More details will follow as available.
UPDATE: The 33-year-old stabbing victim has succumbed to his injuries. There is no threat to the public, and additional details will follow at a later date.
