What Allegedly Happened: Juvenile stabbing victim

Brief Synopsis on what may
have allegedly have happened…

At approximately 3:05 this morning emergency personnel were called to the 100 block of Royal Avenue in Rockford for reports of a stabbing victim.

Initial reports are a juvenile was suffering from non life threatening injuries from a stabbing incident.

We will update as further information is released.

Per RPD:

RPD is currently investigating two separate incidents: A 34-year-old man was shot in the 3300 blk of Sunnyside Avenue. A juvenile female was stabbed in the 100 blk of Royal Ave. Both are being treated at local hospitals and their injuries are non-life-threatening at this time.

Please remember, these are initial reports regarding Sunnyside and Royal Avenues, and further details will follow as the investigations continue.
