1 Confirmed Shooting Victim At The Carnival,
Police Arrested 5 Alleged Suspects
Police said this may have been a targeted attack.
The victim is reported to be alive.
Unknown on their condition.
A press conference is scheduled for Monday.
Sources are reporting an alleged shooting at the speedway
Many sources are reporting that a person has been shot at the Rockford Speedway.
There is a fair going on in the parking lot of the speedway.
The shooting allegedly happened near the gate area.
We do know we have numerous reports saying
a ton of emergency personnel are on scene.
And every report that we have received,
have all said a person has been shot.
We will only say,
keep everyone involved in your thoughts and prayers.
At the time of writing this,
police have not yet released any information.
There are reports that police were chasing a vehicle, doing well over 100 MPH.
It was reported to be a Red vehicle, allegedly fleeing the scene.
Officials have not released any information at this time.
UPDATE: Kilburn and Central area.
Unconfirmed reports are saying the vehicle crashed near this location.
One person may have been trapped, and another fled in a nearby field.
If they do, we will update this.
