From the Rockford PD:
On Friday, April 28, 2023, Rockford Police officers
responded to a local hospital for a walk-in gunshot victim.
Upon arrival, officers located and
spoke with the 23-year-old female who advised
she was walking in the 1500 block of 17th Avenue
when she heard a loud pop, and felt a sharp pain in her leg.
According to the Rockford PD
She was not forthcoming with any
further information,
and was treated and released
for her non-life-threatening injury.
All charges against individuals are merely accusations.
They are considered innocent unless
proven guilty in a court of law.
As much as we hate asking for donations.
