I wanted to take a second and acknowledge the local police,
For conducting multiple traffic stops within the last 72 hours.

Once you began making your presence on the streets again.
The traffic has slowed down considerably.
There are still areas that have problems…
The police are making their presence known
And are conducting traffic stops…
According to the last 72 hour call logs:
Rockford PD has conducted 105 traffic stops.
70 of them were from noon to midnight.
The majority of them were 6 pm to midnight.
Other PD’s within Winnebago County and WCSO:
WCSO and other police departments within Winnebago County have conducted 212 traffic stops.
146 of those traffic stops were from noon to midnight.
Total of 317 traffic stops in the last 72 hours.
I want to take a second and acknowledge their work on trying to keep our streets safe.

- If they do release information, we will update this.
If there are no updates, officials have not released any information that we are aware of.
