Based on the information that has currently been provided to us.
Sources are reporting two different scenes.
Initial reports are saying police have kicked in the door of two different residents.
The two incidents are not believed to be related. But both were believed to be police executing search warrants.
The first one happened recently in the 200 block of Grand. Loves Park Police have confirmed (Thank You LPPD) that they did execute a search warrant and that police did seize some drugs and two people were arrested. But could not provide anymore details at this time.
The second scene happened near Sandy Hollow and 9th. Police have not released any information on this scene.
Sources said police have multiple people detained in handcuffs out in front of a house. Initial reports are saying it appears to be a raid. However the Rockford PD have not released any information to confirm anything at this time.
Again please note that these are two different scenes. And are NOT believed to be related.
