Rockford Police officers responded to 205 W. State
Street (District Bar & Grill) for reports of a large fight and multiple shots fired around 12:20 a.m.
on Saturday. Upon arrival, officers learned that an argument between individuals spilled out into
the street where one of the men involved fired towards another group. A short time later,
officers learned that a 26-year-old man arrived at a local hospital with an apparent gunshot
wound to the stomach. Officers were made aware that other businesses in the area were struck
as well. At this time, the victim is in critical condition, but is stable.

Officers are investigating a shooting in the 200 block of W. State St.
An adult male sustained a gunshot wound and is being treated at a local hospital.
Update: Many sources/witnesses said the incident began inside a nearby bar. (Alleged fight)
Then spilled out into the streets of Rockford.
At some point, shots were alleged to have been fired.
Some nearby businesses were damaged by the gunfire.

Rockford PD have only confirmed a shooting victim, nothing else at this time.
Sources are reporting a major scene in downtown Rockford.
It happened around 12:30 am near State and Wyman.
Initial reports are saying 3 gunshots were fired.
3 men were witnessed running towards a nearby parking lot.
Unknown if they are the suspects, or fleeing from the bullets.
Unconfirmed reports are saying that one person was shot.
Unknown on the severity of the injuries at this time.
Many reports are saying the downtown area is a crimes scene,
And to avoid the area for awhile, because police have it blocked off.
