My opinion on what allegedly may have possibly happened,
Based on the information that has been currently provided to Rockford Scanner:
RS source reached out and told us about her experience
in an alleged haunted house near Freeport.
The alleged paranormal incidents began approx. 2 decades ago at an address in the 1200 block of Chicago ave in Freeport, IL. The eyewitness is reporting that her stepdad owned the property prior to her moving in with the rest of her family. She was in her early teens while living at the residence when these experiences happened.
One of her first memories was when their family cat would almost on a daily occurrence would sit and stare at an area on the wall by the stairs. Almost as if the cat was watching someone or something.
She went to investigate what the family cat might have been staring at. Seeing if it may have been a bug or something that the cat might be looking at. After investigating she was not able to find a logical reasoning for the odd behavior of their cat.
The next memory the eyewitness had was when her alarm clock would mysteriously go off in the middle of the night. She did not mention if the times varied, or if there was a specific time. She made sure the alarm was off and there was no logical reasoning for it to go off. After taking all these careful precautions, it still kept going off.
She recalls that she had several Disney porcelain dolls that she always kept on top of her TV.
Every morning she woke up, the dolls would be in different positions.
Her next memory was when she was talking to her mom about the mirror in the bathroom.
As she was talking about the mirror, the mirror fell off the wall. Her stepdad said that the whole time he has lived there, that mirror has never fallen off of the wall.
There were many times she was in her bedroom and felt “cold” and having the feeling of someone watching her.
In the same room, her moms friend stayed the night in the room and later on that night heard someone whispering her name over and over into her ear.
One time while standing near the stairs, she saw a ghost like figure wearing a White top and White bottoms coming down the stairs. As the figure came down, the dog sitting at the bottom of he stairs quickly ran off whimpering. And the figure vanished.
