Rockford Scanner™: Several Fire Departments Battle A Fully Engulfed House Fire

From our good friends at HRFD:

Harlem Roscoe Fire Chief Don Shoevlin reports on an early morning fire: “We were dispatched at approximately 12:15 am this morning (July 3rd) for a fully involved structure fire on Stateline Rd. Upon arrival we had a single family 2-story home with heavy fire on all sides of the structure. Water had to be brought to the site so assistance was requested for Tenders from neighboring departments. There were no injuries to personnel or the family however some family pets perished in the fire. We would like to thank all of the departments that helped us this morning. Units were on the scene until approximately 0345. The cause of the fire is under investigation.” Photos by Photographer Sheryl Drost
