Multiple charges stemming from a joint narcotics investigation with the Rockford Police Department
and the DEA-Chicago Division Rockford Resident Office.

During the past few months, the Rockford Police Department Narcotics Unit,
along with the DEA-Chicago Division Rockford Resident Office, received information regarding
individuals selling narcotics in the City of Rockford and began a joint investigation of those
individuals.

On Wednesday, June 22, 2022, Rockford Police Narcotics Unit, along with members of the DEA-
Chicago Division Rockford Resident Office, assisted by SLANT (State Line Area Narcotics Team)

and the Rockford Police Gang Unit, executed five search warrants at residences in the 4200 block
of Harrison Avenue, 4200 block of Beach Street, 1500 block of West Street, 3700 block of
Mackinaw Trail, and the 2200 block of S. Central Avenue.

During the execution of the search warrants, officers were able to locate and recover one
kilogram of fentanyl, one kilogram of cocaine, 2,498 grams of cannabis, along with over $380,000
and three vehicles. Three individuals were charged, taken into custody, and lodged in the County
Jail.

After a review of the facts of the case, the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office authorized
the charges listed below.
