Serious Accident, Pedestrian Hit By A Vehicle, Avoid The Area For A While

It happened around 9:20 pm, near the area of Central and Blaisdell
(Note: Location may be wrong)

Initial reports are saying a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle.

Life saving measures were being performed.

Unknown if the vehicle stayed on scene.

Avoid the area for awhile,
Rockford PD will probably doing an accident reconstruction.

Per RPD:

Traffic crash with injuries – N Central Ave & Blaisdell – victim has serious but non-life threatening injuries. The roadway will be closed for the next 45 minutes for the investigation.
