Rockford Scanner™: Motorcyclist Shot in Rockford

AGGRAVATED BATTERY WITH A FIREARM: On Sunday, April 10, 2022, at approximately 7:05 p.m.,
Rockford Police officers were flagged down in the area of Green Street and Webster Avenue
regarding a 24-year-old male shot in the leg while riding a motor bike. Officers were advised that
as the victim drove down the street, a red sedan with four male occupants started to follow him

and one of the occupants began shooting towards him. The victim sustained a non-life-
threatening gunshot wound to his leg. As the car drove away, several more shots were fired at the victim.

A residence in the 2000 block of Green Street was also struck.
