Update: Suspects shoot at and chase victims in Rockford, Then uses their vehicle to shove the victims off the roadway and into a building.


 





 

Note: Rockford PD is only confirming the accident.
They have not released any info. on the chase or shots fired,
or even the other vehicle shoving the victims off the roadway and into the building…

Update from the victims family: 
They are reporting a suspect was chasing the victims and was shooting at them.  The suspect then used their vehicle and shoved the victims vehicle off the roadway and into the building.  The victims are alive, but have a long way to recovery.  At this time,  we have been told the police do know who the suspect are but Rockford PD has not released that info. publicly.  They are not in custody.

If police released their names, the public could call police to tell the suspects location 
And get the suspects off the streets <—shrugs>



Where: 900 block of 18th Ave 
When: 4:25 pm

Brief synopsis of what may have happened:

At approximately 4:25 this afternoon emergency personnel were called to the 900 block of 18th Avenue for a auto accident where one vehicle reportedly rear ended another vehicle and that vehicle then went off the street into a brick building.

Extrication was required to free the driver of the vehicle that hit the building and three people from the vehicle needed to be transported to local hospitals by ambulance.

At least one person is said to have serious injuries.

A building inspector is being called to the scene to check the damage to the brick building.

Please avoid the area…
