Two Rockford Men Charged after Narcotics Investigation
ROCKFORD, Ill. – On Monday, February 28, 2022, at approximately 10:10 a.m., members of the
Rockford Police Department Gang Crime Unit conducted a Narcotics Search Warrant in the 2400
block of Sauber Avenue.

Upon searching the residence, detectives located two loaded firearms,
over 90 Ecstasy pills, crack cocaine, over 400 grams of cannabis, and United States Currency.
After a review of the facts of this case, the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office
authorized the following charges:

Anthony Young, 26, Rockford

Unlawful Use of a Weapon by a Felon (2 counts)

Armed Habitual Criminal
Armed Violence
No Valid FOID (2 counts)
Possession with Intent to Deliver Cannabis
Possession with Intent to Deliver Ecstasy

Martavius Young, 23, Rockford

Possession with Intent to Deliver Cannabis
Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine

The charges are merely accusations and all individuals are considered innocent unless proven
guilty in a court of law.
