Rockford Scanner™: Saturday night into Sunday morning, Expect snow covered, slippery roads across the area, along with poor visibility



If you will be out driving later Saturday night into Sunday morning, expect snow covered, slippery roads across the area, along with poor visibility while the snow is falling. A fast moving clipper type system will bring up to six hours of accumulating snow in any location. The snow will overspread the area from northwest to southeast late Saturday evening into the overnight and come to an end by the early to mid morning on Sunday. The current forecast is for 1-3” of fluffy snow accumulation. A narrow corridor of 3-4” totals is possible. Stay tuned for the latest forecast updates.
