Rockford Scanner™: Belvidere Chrysler Temporarily Closing, Workers To Receive 74% of Their Wages During The Shutdown


Sources are reporting the Belvidere Chrysler plant is going to be shutting down the plant from January 13th – 20th.  

Workers are reported to be getting 74% of their pay, while the plant is shut down. 

Unconfirmed reports are saying the reason for the shut down, is because it needs to align product with the demand. 

It is reported that the plant will resume their production at the plant on January 27th 2020.
