It happened around 11:25 pm tonight.
The victim is at the Mcdonalds at 4623 E State st, near Alpine.

The victim is reporting a bus hit him and he has facial injuries.

Missing Child In Rockford

A 4 year old child is missing in Rockford. It happened around 9 pm tonight near Middlebury in Rockford. That is near Harrison and Alpine.

Police have not released any information or photos.

The missing 4 year old child is a black male, 4 years old, wearing a pink shirt and khaki pants.

My little brother was walking home and a dog following him.Very good dog has basic training and seems to be from a very loving family contact me directly if it is your dog it came with a collar and you will have to tell me the color of the collar and gender of the dog it has water and is safe until we can find it’s owner it is being kept in a fenced in yard currently as well and it will be fed.”

It happened near Sawyer and Collins.

Several officers have a vehicle stopped and are searching the vehicle. Witnesses said it appears this may have been a police chase just prior.

Rockford Scanner™: Home invasion in Machesney Park


Sources are reporting a home invasion in Machesney Park. 

It happened just after midnight last night in the 8500 block of Colchester Drive.

Sources are reporting numerous emergency personnel were on scene. Unconfirmed reports of injuries. Suspects fled in a pickup truck that possibly hit a deer while fleeing and has front end damage. No other information at this time.

Winnebago County police rarely ever release any information since encrypting. So do not expect any updates on this. Sorry.



Rockford Scanner™: RPD Needs Your Help Finding A Home Invasion Suspect in Rockford


On Tuesday, May 28, 2019, shortly after 11:00 a.m., Rockford Police Officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of Hilton Avenue in reference to an unknown subject inside a house. Upon arrival, officers learned the male suspect entered the residence while a female victim was downstairs. The victim confronted the suspect, who then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was hurt. The suspect is described as a middle-aged white male, about 5’8”, 140 pounds.

Serious accident being reported on the west side.

It happened just before 5 PM today near North Main and the Fulton.

A vehicle crashed into a tree and a woman is pinned under the passenger side of the vehicle. The vehicle is also reported to be smoking. Extrication is being requested. This is still developing and you want to avoid the area for a while.

It happened around 3:35 PM in the area of Belvidere and Swanson rd. Possibly 3 vehicles are involved.

Injuries were being reported. It is not yet known on the severity of the injuries at this time.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
