Two More People Shot In Rockford A little Bit Ago
From the RPD: DOUBLE SHOOTING: On Wednesday, October 3rd, 2018 shortly after 6:15 p.m., Rockford Police officers responded to a shots fired call in the 4500 block of Newburg Road.
Shortly after, a call came in for two shooting victims that were self-transported to a local hospital. Upon arrival to the scene, officers learned the 28-year-old male and 30-year-old female victims were both shot outside of a residence. The male victim’s injuries are critical and life-threatening, and the female’s injuries are serious, but non-life-threatening.
The incident is believed to be isolated, and there is no threat to the public.
The investigation is ongoing so no further details are being released at this time. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Rockford Police at 815-966-2900.

A short time later a white vehicle showed up at a local Emergency Room and two shooting victims were pulled out of the vehicle.
Sounds like the injuries are life threatening, but not yet confirmed.
One person was reported shot in the head and the other person was shot in the leg area.
No suspect information, due to the police encryption. Safe to assume they were able to get away to cause more havoc on the Rockford streets.
