Sources are reporting a bad accident on the East side.

It happened just after midnight at the railroad crossing bridge at Broadway near Woodruff.

A vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed Eastbound, hit the center pylon of the bridge and rolled over.

The person was briefly trapped inside, but was able to get out of the vehicle and then fled on foot.

Admin Will went to work the scene and we should have some photos up on our website later on.

Unknown on the suspect description at this time. RPD is investigating.
