 From the Beloit PD:

We are providing additional information about our presence in the 900 block of East Grand Avenue last night.

We were at a residence there as part of an ongoing investigation.

Two individuals were taking into custody yesterday.

A 15-year-old male was arrested on three counts of attempted homicide.

This individual was wanted by our department for the May 13 shooting in the 1300 block of Nelson Avenue.

Three males were shot in that incident; all three were wounded with non-life threatening injuries.

The victims’ ages were 16, 18, and 19.

Additionally, an 18-year-old male, Omar A. Marin, was arrested on Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office warrants for a South Beloit Police Department investigation.

Questions regarding that investigation should be directed to the South Beloit Police Department.

We appreciate everyone’s patience as our detectives worked to investigate the shooting on Nelson Avenue.
