Suspects kidnapped a woman on 7th street and they beat her and robbed her and then dumped her out of the car in the ally between 9th and 10th ave behind s. 6th street.

Suspects are two black males and a white female. Suspects are in a Grey older model Nissan, with a loud exhaust, no hub caps some rust. Last seen northbound

They stole her phone and about $40

On Wednesday December 19th, 2018 at 7:28pm, Rockford Officer’s responded to 3201 Gilbert Ave in reference to an attempted robbery.

Through further investigation, they learned that the suspect called in a pizza delivery for that address and attempted to rob the pizza delivery person in the parking lot.

The suspect held a loaded rifle magazine in his hand, pointed it at the delivery person, and demanded property from him.  A struggle ensued between both individuals prior to the suspect fleeing on foot southbound.

No property was taken and the victim was not injured.

The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 27-35 years of age, 5’08”, 155 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

WANTED MAN: A Rockford man is wanted in connection to two armed robberies within the past week. On Tuesday, December 11, 2018 shortly before 7:00 p.m., Rockford Police officers responded to Boost Mobile (3201 Auburn Street) in reference to an armed robbery.

Officers learned the male suspect, armed with a handgun, robbed the business of money and fled. At approximately 7:20 p.m., Rockford Police officers were called to S&H Tobacco (2744 11th Street) for a report of an armed robbery. Officers learned the suspect entered the business, pointed a gun at an employee and demanded money. The suspect then fled the business with the money. No one was hurt in either incident.

Detectives from the Rockford Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit conducted a follow-up investigation into the incidents. Subsequently, the suspect was identified as 24-year-old Janathan Turner. The Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office reviewed the cases, authorized charges, and a warrant was obtained for Turner on December 13, 2018.

Detectives are investigating the possibility that Turner may be responsible for other similar robberies.

Sources are reporting a business in Machesney park was robbed at gunpoint.

Sources said a white male suspect robbed the gas station at 8320 N Second st.  According to Google that is the Citgo Gas Station near N Second st and Wilshire, next to the Taco Johns.

Suspect is a White Male, 5’8, thin build, wearing a mask and black clothing. He was last seen northbound on foot from the scene.

We are getting several reports of numerous armed robberies in Rockford tonight.

We can confirm one armed robbery on Benton st.

Suspects are described as 4 suspects. 2 black males and 2 white females.

One of the males is 6’3 160 lbs, shoulder length dreads, black rifle. Another male is described as 6’4 150 lbs.

Fled in a Black Malibu.

We have gotten several reports they are allegedly involved in several armed robberies tonight in Rockford.

On Tuesday December 11, 2018 at 8:11pm the Rockford Police Officers responded to the Little Caesars Pizza at 3108 N Rockton Ave, in reference to an armed robbery that just occurred. The suspect entered into the business and demanded money from the female cashier.

The suspect was armed with a black handgun. She complied and provided the suspect with an unspecified amount of money. The suspect fled the business on foot. He was described as a black male, armed with a black handgun, and wearing a navy blue jacket, yellow mask covering his face, and dark pants. There were two other employees and no customers in the business at the time of the robbery.

No persons were injured during the incident.

On Tuesday December 11, 2018 at 6:54pm, Rockford Officers responded to the Boost Mobil located at 3201 Auburn St in reference to an armed robbery that just occurred. The suspect entered into the business at closing time and demanded money from the two employees. The suspect was armed with a black handgun.

Both employees complied and provided the suspect with an unspecified amount of money. The suspect fled the business on foot. He was described as a black male, armed with a black handgun, and wearing a dark blue / gray hooded jacket, yellow scarf across face, black pants, and black shoes. There were no customers in the business at the time of the robbery. No persons were injured during the incident.

Sources are reporting a scene at a local gas station.

Sources are reporting a scene with several police officers at the Stop N Go at Charles and Washington area. That is near the Walgreens.

At the time of writing this, it is not yet known what happened.

Some have told us shots were fired during a robbery at the business. But as you know the RPD are encrypted and we cannot confirm anything.
