Sources are reporting a house fire in Rockford.

Suspects threw a moltov cocktail at the residence in the 1500 block of Burton in Rockford.

The living room is on fire, they are trying to evacuate.

No suspect description at the time of posting this.

Just after 10:30 pm tonight, the RPD and RFD are on scene of a house fire call.

It happened in the area of 425 Oakley ave, that is just south of School st

This is reported to be an abandoned building.

Heavy smoke is coming from the roof/chimney area of the structure.

Around 8 AM  several emergency personnel were responding to a possible house fire.

UPDATE:  MABAS BOX 11 to the box alarm

It happened in the 4600 block of Lamp Light Trail.
Google maps shows this in the area of Owen center and Elmwood

A boiler inside a crawlspace is reported to be on fire.

The residents are evacuating. This is still developing..

Around 4 am this morning, the Rockford Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 1200 block of Fieldcrest in Rockford.

When the RFD arrived on scene, they confirmed heavy flames showing from the rear of the residence.

All the occupants were able to safely escape the burning house.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Sources are reporting a house fire in Loves Park

Loves Park Fire Department and North Park Fire Department are battling a house fire in the 4600 block of Fenton Lane in Loves Park. That is Northwest of Mulford and Windsor.

The fire is reported to have started in an upstairs bedroom of the residence.

Emergency personnel arrived on scene quickly and was able to knock the fire down. Unknown on injuries at this time. The residents were able to evacuate.

Sources are reporting a structure fire in Rockford just before 5 PM

It happened in the area of the 4800 block of Creekview road in Rockford
SE of Alpine and E State st

there is a confirmed fire with a large amount of smoke coming from the second floor of the building, in the rear of the building.

Reports of people trapped on balconies and inside the building.

People were trying to go in and save the others, and the call-taker told them to stay out of the building.

Unknown on injuries.
