Several emergency personnel are at the Showplace 16 in Rockford.

Sources are reporting multiple people beaten up at the theater.

Emergency personnel are on scene, at least 2 ambulances are on scene.

Sources Reporting Robbery Suspects Beat A Cashier in Rockford

Sources are reporting a store at North Town mall was robbed at gunpoint around 5:45 pm Friday night.

Suspects beat the cashier during the robbery.

It happened at 3611 N Main, Metropcs

RPD confirmed an armed robbery call. But no other details.

Armed Robbery In Rockford

Sources have told us this morning there was an armed robbery and the victim was severely beaten and bleeding heavily, in Rockford this morning.

That was around 4 am.  Unknown on the exact location, due to the encryption.

There was another armed robbery near Central and Mulberry just before 9 am.  We been told the suspects got away from both scenes.

RPD is investigating both of these robberies.

RPD:  Rockford Police say they were on patrol in the 200 block of South 6th Street on Saturday when they found a 25-year-old man lying in the grass, who had been beaten and robbed by a group of seven men.

According to police, around 5 p.m. officers spotted the victim lying in the grass just south of 1st Avenue.

The victim told officers that he had been walking in the 1000 block of 12th Avenue when seven men approached him and demanded his belongings. They then beat and robbed him.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. He is expected to make a full recovery.

Descriptions of the assailants were not given.
