Today will become increasingly windy, with the strongest winds during the afternoon. Southwesterly gusts will be up to 35 to 45 mph, highest for locations near and north of I-80. These winds may be strong enough to blow around loose objects and tents and cause difficult travel for high profile vehicles. After the stretch of unseasonably chilly temperatures, highs this afternoon will be much closer to normal under mostly sunny skies
