Officers Evaluating The Scene at Auburn & Winnebago 


Approx. 11:30 pm Friday night, several emergency personnel were working an automobile accident scene. 

It appears the vehicle was traveling Westbound on Auburn st.  Auburn st ends at N Winnebago rd. (see map below)   

The vehicle failed to navigate a traffic controlled device and went off into the field.  The vehicle traveled approx 100 feet or so into the field.

The vehicle stopped because it crashed into a tree.

There was one male victim that went into a waiting ambulance. Unknown if he was transported to a local hospital. 

WCSO, ISP, Win-Bur-Sew departments were on scene.
