Rockford Scanner™: SEE IT, SNAP IT, SEND IT

If you see a scene:  Snap a photo or video of the scene, and email it to us.

You can remain anonymous if you like.

Email it to us at

We want to take a second and thank everyone who sees a scene  and snaps a photo or two, or a video and sends it to us.

If you know about a scene, let us know about it!

We can only post stuff that we do know about.

It can be something as simple as this example: 5 officers and 3 fire trucks at 251 and 173 around 12:30 pm. Unknown why.

Or it can be detailed like: 3 WCSO and 2 LPPD officers are on scene of an automobile accident at 251 and 173 in Machesney Park around 12:30 pm. There are 2 people reporting non life threatening injuries, and there are 2 fire trucks on scene to assist with the injured victims.

We never bite a hand that feeds us.  We will definitely keep you anonymous if you want to be anonymous.

Remember if you see an officer, ambulance, fire truck, etc…  Let us know about it.

We prefer a photo or video, to help prove there’s a scene. A lot of times the emergency personnel deny a scene.

So if you send a photo or video, it will help solidify your report to us and also make it harder for police to deny the scenes these days.

If you have information on this, you can contact us at
We will keep you anonymous.

If you do not want to contact the police directly, you can contact us  and we will relay your information to the proper agencies if needed, and keep you anonymous.

Disclaimer: As you know the local police have encrypted, have not released any information, etc…
They rarely ever do release information to the public, since encrypting. So do not expect any updates.
