Rockford Scanner™: Rockford Fire Department Battled A Couple Of House Fires in Rockford Today

Sources are reporting a couple of structure fires in Rockford earlier today in the brutal cold weather. 

According to the Rockford Fire Department, they battled a couple of fires.

The first one happened in the 600 block of College ave.

The other one happened in the 400 S Highland Ave.

They said they also battled a fire in the 400 block of Holland ave, Note: This might might be a typo from RFD and it might of supposed to of said Highland.

Around 4:15 today there was a basement fire in the 2000 block of 22nd st st.

Unknown on injuries. The cause of the fires are under investigation by the Rockford Fire Department
