Rockford Scanner™: Numerous Officers From Several Jurisdictions Working A Scene On The East Side

  • Rickie

As you know we are always neutral and try telling all the sides of a story as much as we can. At the time of writing this, the Rockford Police Department has chosen not to release any information on the incident. We have tried several times to get the RPD side of the story and they have chosen not to say anything.  We have talked to several people that were involved at the party. And below is what many have told us.

We can only provide the information that IS provided to us.

There was a party going on and the police knocked on the door one time. Then they kicked in the door of the residence. The police had their guns drawn on several unarmed teenagers. They told the teens if anyone moved they had zero issues shooting each and every teenager there without hesitation.  Many of the people there were scared for their lives, thinking the police were about to kill them as they had their hands in the air and unarmed.

We had originally reported there were no injuries. After we posted that, several people told us that there were injuries.

Police had a male in handcuffs and were beating on the male.   The people at the scene said the police beat the male for no reason, basically to show others that will happen to them, if they try to try anything. That male is currently being treated at the local ER.  He has been there for awhile now. And at the time of writing this, he was still at the hospital. We have been told the injuries were pretty serious.

A female was screaming Please don’t shoot we are scared, you are suppose to protect us, not hurt us!”
Her boyfriend was handcuffed face down on the ground while they were beating him.

He is reported to have suffered several broken bones in his face and head area, along with several scrapes on his face and a concussion.

Several people have told us that the police searched everyone. And the entire house and the police found nothing. No guns or drugs or weapons were found.
“Just kids at a house party” one source told us.

Sources are reporting a scene with numerous police officers.

It happened in the area of 2nd ave, East of Kishwaukee.

Reports of a large party was ongoing when officers showed up to investigate.

Reports of an officer screaming for help, so numerous police officers from several jurisdictions went to assist.

It is unknown why the officer was screaming for help.

No reports of injuries. And it did not appear that anyone was detained or arrested.

There was approx. 30 + officers at the scene.
