Rockford Scanner™: Man Leaves A 2 Year Old Child In A Vehicle As He Fled From Police, Officer Also Injured During The Chase


 Sources are reporting 21-year-old Brandon Tweed fled from police on Tuesday night. While fleeing, he had a 2 year old child in the maroon Kia as he was fleeing from police down Auburn st at high speeds. During the high speed chase down Auburn st the police threw out some spike strips to attempt to stop him as he fled. One of the officers cut his hand while deploying the stop sticks. The alleged suspect hit the spike strips. Then pulled over near Day and Auburn and fled on foot. Leaving behind the 2 year old child still in the vehicle, as he fled on foot.  Police were able to arrest him.
