Rockford Scanner™: Local Ambulance Transporting A Patient, Gets Into An Automobile Accident

Sources are reporting a local ambulance that was involved in an auto accident in Rockford. 

A Rockford Fire Department ambulance (Medic 3) was involved in an accident at Kishwaukee and 1st around 7:15 pm tonight. 

They were transporting a patient in the ambulance when they were involved in the accident. 

Another ambulance came to transport that patient. No injuries from the vehicle involved in the accident. Unknown on the medics. 

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
