Rockford Scanner ™: It Must Be Hit And Run Night In Rockford

According to the RPD logs there have been four hit and run accidents in Rockford within the last four hours alone.

These are the ones actually being reported, I wonder how many aren’t?

Said incidents happened in/at:

The 1600 block of Westchester Drive around 3:30 pm.

The intersection of Charles Street and 22nd Street around 4pm.

At least one, possibly two hit and runs at the same time at the intersection of Auburn Street and Kilburn Avenue around 5:45 pm.

The intersection of E State Street and N Perryville Road around 6:20 pm.

There are no reports of any injuries. The Rockford Police Department is currently investigating.

Also, E State was finally reopened about a hour ago after the accident at E State Street and London Avenue.

Drive carefully folks!
