Several sources have contacted us and are reporting a scene that happened overnight on Rockford’s Westside.

Sources said there were numerous police officers and at least one police K-9 dog that were assisting in searching for a least one suspect.

Unconfirmed reports are saying there was a hit-and-run accident near Auburn and Price and at least one of the suspects involved got out and fled on foot.

It is unknown on the severity of the injuries from the accident. Numerous police officers had a police perimeter and were canvassing the area searching for the suspects.

At the time of writing this the Rockford Police Department has not released any information or confirmed anything. So it is unclear if the suspects are still on the loose.
