Rockford Scanner™: Couple Of Inches Of Snow Are Possible





 

Light snow with minor accumulations of a coating up to one inch south of I-80 are possible tonight. Any light accumulating snow will end by early Saturday, with on and off flurries possible Saturday afternoon.

Sunday, a fairly short period of accumulating snow for much of the area and breezy southerly winds gusting to 35 mph. The precipitation will likely end as light rain or drizzle by mid to late Sunday afternoon into the early evening.

Snow accumulations of 1-3″ are favored along and north of I-80, with the highest amounts likely near the Wisconsin border.
