Rockford Scanner™: Conversations with the Community

Join the City of Beloit Police Department for its next Conversations with the Community series as we have open dialogue about sensitive topics and help educate the public.

• Wednesday, March 4: Use of force education and update on the review of the Dec. 10, 2019, officer involved shooting.
• Wednesday, March 11: What would you do if you were pulled over? Learn about traffic stops, your rights and the parameters for the police for the safety of our officers and the entire community.

Both meetings will be held from 6-8 p.m. at the Merrill Community Center, 1428 Wisconsin Ave., Beloit, WI.

“We value collaboration with our community as our guardians work diligently to make Beloit a safe city free of crime, fear and disorder,” said Beloit Police Chief David B. Zibolski. “Together, we can make a difference.”
