Looking ahead… the much advertised cold air pushes into the area Monday evening with blustery conditions expected into Tuesday with gusty west northwesterly winds continuing through the day. Highs on Tuesday and Wednesday only top out in the 20s, with lows mainly in the teens.

There is a chance of snow flurries on Wednesday morning. The surface high then drifts off to the north and east on Thursday allowing southerly flow to return to the area, helping temperatures rebound to near normal into the mid 30s. Friday’s highs will be slightly above normal in the 40s.
