From the CVFD:

Cherry Valley Fire Department responded to an apartment fire on Linden Road this morning. There were multiple rescues and one fatality


WTVO is saying this is now a fatal fire. One person has died. We have not heard anything official yet, but WTVO is reporting it to be a fatal fire. Linden rd is shut down at Alpine.  Salvation Army is assisting the families.


Sources are reporting an apartment fire.

It happened around 6:45 am this morning near 4979 Linden rd #1226

Reports of the apartment on fire and a female inside the apartment is not able to get out.

Several units from several fire departments are en route.

Smoke is showing from the C side, the victim is still inside.
