Rockford FD releases the following information on last nights house fire.

Just before midnight the Rockford Fd responded to a house fire in the 2500 block of 18th ave. 

RFD arrived quickly on scene with a total of 24 firefighters, 2 ladder trucks, 3 engines, and 2 district chiefs. 

When the responding units arrived they found smoke and fire on the first floor of the residence. 

RFD had the fire under control in under 20 minutes. 

1 Person was transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation. 

A total of 3 occupants that were displaced. The Red Cross is assisting. 

Estimated damages are around $20,000.00
