Man Going To Prison For Selling Fentanyl Lace Cocaine, And The Victim Passed Away

Sources are reporting a man has been sentenced to prison for his role in an overdose death in Rockford back in 2017.

In July of 2017 the Rockford PD responded to a decomposing body call in the 1300 block of 15th ave.

During the investigating, RPD arrested Willie Walton for his role in the death.

He has since plead guilty to 2nd degree murder and delivery of a controlled substance.

He sold the victim fentanyl laced cocaine.

He was sentenced to 12 and a half years in prison.
