Accident On The East Side, Possibly Caused From Black Ice

Update: Marissa is saying it was her dad and  that no extrication was needed. He did need help getting out of the vehicle due to no strength, but no jaws of life were needed.

She said her dad is OK, and no injuries.

The possible cause of the accident may have been from black ice. 

Note: There are several reports all over Winnebago County this morning of black ice. 
So if you have to travel, please use caution. 
 

Sources are reporting a bad accident. 

It happened around 6 am near Perryville and Guilford. 

Reports of a vehicle that has crashed just South of the intersection. 

The vehicle is on the bike path. 

The jaws of life are needed to cut 1 person out of the vehicle. 

Injuries were being reported. 

Avoid the area.
