On 12/07/2016 the Roscoe Police Department was dispatched to the area of Rock Lane for a burglary and attempted residential burglary. Two male subjects were observed committing the crime before fleeing the area. The subjects were described as two possibly Hispanic males driving a small black early 90’s truck
Update: 78 year old woman has passed away. She entered I-90 southbound from Rockton rd and collided with a northbound vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Name is being held pending family notification
Around 11:35 am this morning several emergency personnel were dispatched to I-90 near the mile marker #3 in the westbound lanes. Near the toll plaza. There is an auto accident near this location and injuries are being reported.
Update: A vehicle was traveling in the wrong way of traffic. Head on collision. Medical helicopter is on standby. Many lanes of traffic are blocked. People are trapped and extrication is needed

Around 9:35 pm tonight several emergency personnel were dispatched to an address on Wild Deer Trail near Roscoe. Scanner traffic is saying there is a house fire near this location. Everyone is reported to be out of the residence. Emergency personnel are en route

Just before 2:30 pm today several agencies were dispatched to I-90 near the stateline. There is a multiple vehicle accident with injuries near the rest stop. At least one vehicle involved has rolled over. Several area departments were dispatched to the scene. Still developing, avoid I-90 near the stateline, or expect delays
Just before noon today officers spotted a stolen vehicle. The suspects fled on foot. Hononegah went on soft lock-down to be safe. Officers took the suspects into custody at gunpoint near E Franklin and the school lifted the lock-down. No other information.

“Hello, I was wondering if you could put a message out for me. My company AMS will be doing road work the next 3 days (Wed, Thurs and Friday) on Willowbrook Rd between Elevator and McCurry, then McCurry and Rockton Rd. We wanted to ask drivers to be cautious of the workers. Thank you.”
On Wednesday police were dispatched to Loves Truck Stop in reference to a semi truck that was stolen. The truck driver went inside the business, while inside someone stole his semi. Police were able to track down the semi via GPS that was installed in the semi.
Only one officer was available and was following the semi. The officer wasn’t able to stop the vehicle right away. A semi truck driving down the highway realized what was going on and assisted the officer in stopping the stolen semi. That truck driver took his own semi and moved in front of the stolen semi and block the stolen semi in.
They were able to successfully take the suspect into custody.
A Rockford Scanner fan said she saw police with their guns drawn on the suspect and had him on the ground with his hands on his head when she drove by the scene.
Around 11:25 pm tonight several units were dispatched to the 500 block of Northwestern ave in S. Beloit. Scanner traffic is saying there is a violent domestic between a 16 year old female and her 19 year old boyfriend. The female is saying her boyfriend beat her and attempted to stab her during the fight. There is an infant on site as well. The female was able to get away and run to the nearby police station. They have requested medical for the female. Still developing
Around 12:34 am this morning several officers were dispatched to a bar in reference to two white males were fighting over a gun. The suspect with a gun was last seen near Stateline Liquor. They are talking about a nearby trailer park, where the suspect might stay at. Still developing
