Rockford Scanner™: Serious Accident At The Wreck-It-Round-A-Bout




Sources are reporting a serious accident at the Wreck-It-Round-A-Bout. 

A White vehicle has crashed into a pole near the NE corner of the Wreck-It-Round-A-Bout (Auburn & Main)

A female was injured and was unconscious and trapped under the dash of the vehicle. Extrication was needed to get her out of the vehicle.

An empty car seat was inside the vehicle, so emergency personnel are unsure if a small child was in the vehicle or not. They were searching the area.

RFD was able to get the female victim out of the vehicle and transported her to a local E.R.,  she was alive   but has life threatening injuries according to officials.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.

Sources are reporting an accident with injuries in Loves Park. 

It happened a little before 8 pm near the intersection of Forest Hills and E Riverside. Reports of 2 vehicles that are involved in the auto accident. Injuries were being reported. It is not yet known on the severity of the injuries.

National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm WATCH for us until midnight.  Winds, Hail, Flash flooding are the main threats. They said they can not rule out a chance for a tornado as well.   

A WATCH means conditions are favorable for severe weather.

  • Semi rolled over near Baxter and I-39
  • Motorcyclist hit by a vehicle near East Dr and Riverside

Rockford Scanner™: Semi Crashes & Is On Fire Near S. Beloit




UPDATE:   It is actually North of the border.

Sources are reporting an accident near S Beloit. 

It happened this morning around 7:30 am near I-90 and Gardiner.

A semi has crashed into the median and is reported to be on fire.

The driver is reported to be trying to exit the cab.

No other information at this time.

* FROM LATE THIS EVENING THROUGH EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING * SCATTERED SHOWERS AND STORMS THIS EVENING WILL BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD ACROSS FAR NORTHERN ILLINOIS OVERNIGHT INTO EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING. Rockford Scanner™: Suspects Flee From Police, At The Clayton House In Loves Park




 

Sources are reporting some suspects fled from police in Loves Park. It happened at the Clayton House on N Second st. 

#1 One suspect fled on foot. He is described as a light skinned black male wearing a lime green shirt and jeans. Last seen in the backyards on Snow. 

#2 Green Chrysler with a plate of Q152052 that comes back to an address on Woodruff ave. Black male, 26 years old, 5’8, 150 lbs. He was driving the vehicle. Southbound on N Second st.
