Rockford Scanner™: Victim Severely Beaten During A Home Invasion in Rockford


Sources are reporting a home invasion and a victim was severely beaten during the home invasion. 

It happened near 2424 Whale ave in Rockford.
That is near 20th and Sandy Hollow.

Suspects are 2 females. One is named Tiffany, 5’7 175 lbs, brown hair, black shirt, dark pants. The other is a black female wearing dark clothing.


Rockford Scanner™: Multiple Scenes in Rockford Tonight


Sources are reporting several scenes in the Rockford area.

The first scene is around foster on Rockford Westside.  Several police officers in a police K-9 are searching the area.  We have been told that it was a robbery, but is not yet confirmed.  And the suspects fled in the area on foot.

The second scene is on Rockford Eastside just north of the Swedish American Hospital near the Rockford Police Department neighborhood strong house.  Reports of at least 10 police cars around scene and have a truck surrounded.

We’ve been told that it was a shooting scene but as you know we cannot confirm anything due to police encryption and the Rockford Police Department have yet to release any information.

The third scene is near Alpine and Harrison at least three gunshots were heard.  We’ve been told that there are injuries, but not yet confirmed.

Fourth scene at the Whitman st bridge.  A black male had is leg over the railing and it appeared he may be jumping into the Rock River. Emergency personnel arrived on scene but did not see the man, so they went back in service.

No suspect information on any of these at this time

“I was driving down N. Main towards Whitman. The far left lane is shut down do I sped up to get over and this guy sped up and got right on my ass and was holding up a badge so at the stop light he told me he will send a ticket in the mail”

Unknown if this man is an officer, or acting like one.

Sources are reported in automobile accident with injuries in Rockford.  It happened this evening around East state and Newtown on Rockford’s Eastside.  There is an automobile accident near this location and at least one person is reported to be injured.  It is not yet known on the severity of the injuries.  The cause of the accident is under investigation.

An elderly woman was hit by a vehicle while crossing the road. She is confirmed dead on the scene.

Sources are reporting a possible fatal accident in Rockford.

It happened just before 5 PM today in the area of South Main and Harrison.  Reports are saying is just south of this location.

A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle near this location.
It is reported to be an elderly female victim, but not yet confirmed.

Injuries were being reported.
Unconfirmed reports are saying the victim has passed away.

You want to avoid this area for a while, While police do their investigation.

It happened this afternoon in the area of S. Main St. and 15th Ave.

There is an automobile accident near this location and injuries are being reported.  It is not yet known on the severity of the injuries at this time.

A black vehicle that is involved has heavy front end damage.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.

Sources have sent us another video of ATVs driving recklessly in the Rockford area.

This happened in the area of Kishwaukee and 15th, Earlier today.

Rockford Police Department said this is not a local issue, but a national issue.

This has been a ongoing issue in the Rockford area for quite some time now.

Several accidents have been caused from ATVs driving recklessly, According to the Rockford Police Department.

Sources are reporting an automobile accident in the area of Mulford and Newberg around 1 PM

Reports are saying there is an automobile accident near this location.

Sources are reporting at least one person has been injured. The severity of the injuries are believed to be Non-Life-threatening , but are not yet confirmed.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.

Rockford police have released the following information
Please avoid the intersection of Mulford/Newburg roads for a 2 vehicle crash that occurred shortly before 1 pm. 1 person hospitalized, unknown on severity of injuries at this time

Update from the Rockford Police Department: A red car was traveling southbound on Mulford which collided in the intersection with a dump truck which was turning left onto Newburg from northbound Mulford.  The driver of the car, a 59-year-old male, had to be extricated and was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  The driver of the dump truck was not injured.  The accident is under investigation.
